We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Loan Operations

Principal responsibilities

·  To continuously provide high quality processing service to achieve maximum client satisfaction within the specified timeline and requirements. Responsible for relationship building and resolving all inquiries in a professional manner (where applicable). Other responsibilities dependent on process assigned to.
·  The asset class is Secondary Loans, and the trading of such. There are both Par (non-distressed) and Distressed loans in the portfolio.
·  This Operations role, within Trade Control, is predominantly to support Corporate Actions in situations where; the Trading desk has an opportunity to exercise a voting right for Secondary Loan positions they hold; managing the potential conflicts of interest through public/private information handling. The role requires pro-active engagement with global internal stakeholders and where applicable, external parties (e.g., Facility Agents), and requires the individual to have strong communication skills to articulate and coordinate the actions required post event. The individual must have strong attention to detail, ability to disseminate information and have good record keeping for both corporate events and non-event situations. It also requires the individual to have an awareness of the Industry/Regulatory improvements within the Loans market, and how that may impact the day-to-day processes. 
·  You will be required to undertake Operations responsibilities specific to Corporate Actions and other Trade Control duties reporting into the Bangalore Senior Manager. 

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

·  Experience in Global Debt Markets and Loans Trading operations would be an advantage.
·  Experience in Loan Admin, Servicing and Loan Trading.
·  Should have sound knowledge navigating Loan IQ.
·  Good Understanding on LMA (Loan Market Association and LSTA (Loan Syndication Trading Association)
·  The role will require strong connectivity with the global front office and all global operations teams so excellent communication and influencing skills are key
·  The team support Secondary Loans Trading business to provide Operation support for accurate trade support functions
·  Strong Loans product background is required, with a sense of urgency and ability to work unsupervised and under pressure to strict deadlines
·  Excellent Product knowledge for Loans business
·  Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills
·  An excellent understanding of Front-to-Back Operational processes (Middle Office, Confirmations, Settlements)
·  Prior and current understanding and experience of regulatory initatives and programmes of change
·  Control focussed with strong awareness of Operational Risk, supporting the Front to Back Office
