We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

· ​The Collateral team within the Global Markets Operations is responsible for providing support for counterparty credit exposure through margining while also providing value added services to our clients through the production of client valuations statements. The department mitigates counterparty credit risk by collecting collateral from counterparty to protect the Bank's exposure. This team is also responsible for all aspects of collateral monitoring and needs to work closely with the business unit risk managers, front office including sales, traders and documentation groups.
· The role holder must establish good relationship with internal parties (front office, finance, credit risk management, etc.) to resolving issues relating to collateral management operations. Must also manage upward and engage with regional teams for supporting the growth and development of the Collateral team in China.
· Nevertheless, need to proactively participate in system enhancements or any new business initiatives related to Collateral business.

Qualifications :

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·  Ensure the successful processing of daily margin payments, & that all FIM, Audit and regulatory controls and requirements are met at all times.
·  Ensure that we know and understand the business, organisation structure and contacts of all our clearing clients & internal clients.
·  Ensure that we act as an effective point of contact for our clearing and collateral clients on any transaction, account, margin static or market / product related query.
·  Ensure that client queries are handled in a professional manner by acknowledging, owning to resolution and demonstrating turnaround in line with what has been agreed.
·  Act as a second level check when not conducting margin call processing or inputting.
·  Daily review of bank reconciliation items and clearance of these items within agreed timeframes
