We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Delivery Head

In this role, you will:

·  Lead and own the development and implementation of Channels architecture strategy and standards pertinent to the HSBC business area.Introduce new practices, processes, operating model, techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies.
·  Responsible for supporting the business to define a coherent technology change portfolio that enables delivery of the global business / global function strategy and then decomposing the portfolio into requirements that can be delivered in a single DevOps Product Team, or where appropriate, defining programmes required to co-ordinate delivery of complex change across HSBC business areas.
·   Act as the recognised technical expert associated with the relevant HSBC business area domain / systems.Accountable design authority for technology decisions and leadership of the appropriate governance bodies
·  Review services provided against HSBC business area strategy and benchmark internally/externally as appropriate.Stay abreast of technology trends and advise Technology and the business about potential benefits/impacts.
·  Provide a consultancy role to Technology and business teams where appropriate.
·  Where appropriate, provide full life cycle architectural guidance to development teams and ensure quality technical deliverables.
·  Lead a customer-centred culture. Champion activities encouraging outstanding service and/or enhancing customer advocacy.
·  Define the scope of the strategic responsibility for architecture against their aligned remit area.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

·  Full Stack MS based architecture experience essential
·  Experience of Cloud based hosting architecture – AWS/GCP
·  Integration architecture patterns within financial services
·  Background in data and event led architectures such as Kafka
·  Experience of delivering fast paced at scale engineering agile projects
