We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
Develop company valuations and create/analyse financial models, as well as conduct financing, comparative and pro forma analyses
Assist in the preparation of new business presentations and other materials for clients, conduct fundamental industry research and quantitative analyses, and attending client presentations as required etc.
Interact with clients and various levels of management, and act as an integral part of the engagement team
Contribute to the achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction etc.
Origination and execution of DCM transactions in the China Interbank Bond Market
Ownership of existing, select, client portfolios from an Onshore China DCM perspective
Work alongside relationship managers, assist in building up new client relationships
Analysis of market trends and presenting issuers with DCM related opportunities
Collaboration with other DCM centres to provide holistic financing solutions to clients
Preparation of bespoke marketing materials (in Chinese/English) for internal/external use
Liaisons with relevant regulators, as appropriate
Liaisons with relevant internal stakeholders, as appropriate
Compliant with HSBC regulatory requirements, operational standards and values
Build effective relationships with clients and colleagues within Global Banking
Collaborate with others to achieve overall goals
Effectively manage information risk
Effectively manage money laundering, counter terrorist financing, fraud and reputational risk
Act with HSBC’s best interest in mind – act with integrity in all dealings, uphold and build HSBC’s reputation in the market place
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
High achieving and very motivated
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Basic knowledge of financial modelling, valuation, and execution
Strong understanding of the financial markets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Exceptional academic credentials
Demonstrates a commitment to learning new capabilities, proactively seeks more or different assignments to accelerate learning
