We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Portfolio Management Operations team.
Principal Responsibilities
The AM - Operations is responsible to independently manage the operational and client reporting activities in the Operations & Client reporting team.
The role also entails interaction with sales, investment and various other functions within AMIN to ensure that their requirements are understood and delivered accordingly.
The candidate should also have a sound understanding of internal and regulatory guidelines that governs the asset management business.
- Sound understanding of capital market and debt market operation/settlement cycle.
- Cashflow Management & Trade Settlement - Equity and Fixed Income
- Data Management – Static Data and Limits management in Dealing system
- Liaising with auditors, custodian, other service providers and ensuring that service delivery is as
per SLA through regular reviews and meetings.
- Handling activities related to Corporate Action and Listing the units on the Exchanges and
Banking.
- Efficient management of reporting, generating MIS for analysis and updation and back up of
records
- Preparing and releasing reports for Institutional clients.
- Aliasing with all stake holders and vendors for Monthly Portfolios, Fund Factsheets and implementing regulator changes in all scheme related document
- Ensure timely payment to all vendors
- Review processes to remove inefficiencies, reduceTATs and cost.
- Ensure compliance to the process manual and FIM
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Graduate with at least 3 years' experience in financial industry (preferably in Asset Management
industry)
• Candidate needs to be proficient in MS office and adapt to working with different systems.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• AMFI Advisory Module Certification
• A minimum of 18 months in the current post
• Last performance rating minimum - Good/Strong.
