Job description

Wedding Manager is responsible for generating top line revenue contributing to a positive, enthusiastic environment. Conduct sales calls, follow up on weddings, family parties and social events. Assists in developing business plan, complete sales efforts outlined in the business plan, prepare all event documentation and coordinates operation team and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout the pre-event, event, post-event phase of events. Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events. Supports and acts on behalf of the Assistant Director of Event - Wedding in his/her absence.

What will I be doing?
As Wedding Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

 Assists Assistant Director of Event - Wedding in resolving guest service concerns

· 
 Solicits guest feedback and alerts the Assistant Director of Event - Wedding all opportunities for improvement.

· 
Supervises all functions of wedding & family event sales, reservation, and any other functions food & beverage and/or promotion & marketing for hotel

· 
Produces the Annual Revenue Plan for wedding & family event sales

· 
Produces, implements and monitors action plans to ensure Revenue Plan objectives are achieved

· 
Analyses current and potential markets/trends, coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rate

· 
Creates and implements special programs to achieve greater productivity through:

· 
Increasing average rate and occupancy

· 
Increasing business volume during difficult periods

· 
Manages key wedding consulting firms

· 
Co-ordinates the development of all promotional material

· 
Provides direction on and conducts market research

· 
Monitors competitor activities

· 
Maintains Delphi system and keeps it with most updated information

· 
Meets & handling customers to maximize sales revenue, ensure customers’ satisfaction

· 
Establishes and continuously updates outside vendor lists

· 
Foster and promote a co-operative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale

· 
Tracks team’s working schedule. submit the monthly attendance report to HR in timely manner

· 
Implements training, development, counselling, motivating for Executives and Coordinators

· 
Comply with Health & Safety, emergency, fire and hotel rules and regulations

· 
Financial Responsible for accomplishment for wedding & social event sales budget

· 
Monitor, analyse and report variations from the budget

· 
Manages expenses

· 
Makes pricing decisions

· 
Monthly, weekly forecasting with timely manner

· 
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff and employees.

· 
Maintain professional business confidentiality.

What are we looking for?
A Wedding Manager serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

·  High school certificate required with 6 years experiences in the event, food & beverage, sales & marketing or related professional area. (5 star hotel)
·  2 year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related major with 3 years experiences in event, food & beverage, sales & marketing or related professional area. (5 star hotel)
·  Strong communication skills in Korean and English.
·  Knowledge of overall hotel operations.
·  Knowledge of menu planning, food presentation, and banquet and event operations.
·  Strong problem-solving skills.
·  Effective decision-making skills.
·  Ability to maintain stable performance and positive relations with others while under pressure.
·  Ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships by actively seeking information to understand and address customer’s needs.
