Job description

The beautiful Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach, a DoubleTree by Hilton is seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join their team! This 296-room property is half a mile south of East Las Olas Boulevard and a four-mile drive to the cruise terminals at Port Everglades, offering stunning surroundings and 44 breathtaking acres along the Intracoastal Waterway! The ideal candidate for this position will have strong communication and organizational skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft office. Hotel experience preferred but not required. 

 

Shift Pattern: Monday through Friday from 7am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

This position may be required to perform a combination of the following functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company:

·  Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and related paperwork
·  Accepts all purchased products into the hotel, verifying accuracy of delivery to purchase orders
·  Maintains storeroom in accordance with standards and rotates stock accordingly by conducting inventories
·  Issues and delivers items to departments in accordance with the requisition policies and procedures
·  Maintain a good working relationship with other departments, employees, and guests
·  Attend all mandatory meetings.
