What will I be doing?
As Senior Sales Manager , you will be responsible for driving group and event sales by building relationships with clients and leveraging the hotel's unique features. You will work in a fast-paced sales environment, generating new leads and developing strategic plans to maximize revenue.
Position Summary:
· Research, solicit, and generate new group sales opportunities through proactive sales efforts, including database research and networking.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, representing the hotel in sales interactions, including proposals, site inspections, and contract negotiations.
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
· Maintain a strong pipeline of group opportunities and consistently update the lead management system.
· Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with clients and third-party agencies to achieve optimal outcomes.
· Actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales and local Convention Bureaus to attract new business and retain existing clients.
· Attend tradeshows, customer events, and outside sales calls to promote the hotel and build client relationships.
· Participate in weekly sales meetings, reviewing business strategies and lost opportunities.
