About Hilton Auckland
Our nautically-inspired 5-star hotel sits on the end of Princes Wharf, home to a wide variety of fine shops, restaurants, and bars.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Concierge to become part of our professional and hard-working team at Hilton Auckland.
What will I be doing?
A Senior Concierge at Hilton Auckland ensures the first and last impressions matter. They are much more than service providers; they are puzzle masters who excel in creating extraordinary experiences. With deep commitment to guest satisfaction, they have the ability to anticipate and fulfil every need, ensuring each stay is memorable. Their local expertise and problem resolution skills leave an unforgettable impression, making Hilton Auckland a place where dreams come to life.
This role also involves:
· Understand local tourism culture and city profile to provide considerate services on attractions and activities
· Welcoming guests and Hilton Honors members and assisting them with their arrivals and departures
· Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests
· Train all Concierge associates in accordance to hotel standards
· Addressing guest queries during their stay – you don’t take no for an answer and are always willing to help
· Handling incoming phone calls, emails and messages
· Process and deliver messages for Guests
· Deliver and safely storage Guest luggage
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate for this role will bring:
· At least 1 year work experience within a customer service role within a 5-star environment
· Bachelor degree in Tourism / Hospitality / Communication
· A Guest-centric approach and collaborate effectively with Team Members
· Fulltime availability to work following a roster - also available to work weekends and public holidays
· Valid New Zealand full, clean driver’s license
· A strong sense of responsibility and learning ability
· A high standard of grooming and personal presentation
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Fluent in English to meet business needs, and the ability to communicate in at least 1 more different language
· Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel)
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following:
· Work experience in Front Office department
· Member of the Golden Key Association preferred
