This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical business partner that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a Sr Analyst on the Corporate Compensation and Benefits Accounting team reporting to the Manager of Corporate Compensation and Benefits Accounting, you will focus on the month end close related to compensation and benefit accounting.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
· Prepare monthly close and ad-hoc journal entries
· Perform general ledger reviews and balance sheet reconciliations, including resolution of discrepancies or outstanding items
· Prepare annual financial statements for Hilton 401K and Pension Plan audits
How you will collaborate with others:
· Partner with external vendors, corporate offices, and properties to record compensation and benefit journal entries
· Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide documentation regarding financial documents and analysis
· Be a primary contact for Finance partners regarding compensation and benefit payroll inquiries, coordinating with the HR and Payroll GL teams to provide accurate responses
What you will take ownership of:

Manage all aspects of global consolidated accounting and reporting for the compensation, benefits, and other items as allocated within Hilton
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
· Two (2) years of relevant work experience in Accounting or other financial function
· Knowledge of US GAAP Accounting Principles
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
It would be useful if you have:
· BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
· Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle Hyperion Financial Management
· Knowledge of Month-End Close and Budgeting
· Intermediate-level Excel (including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups)
