The Babysitter is responsible for the wellbeing of children between the ages of 0 to 11 years during the absence of their parents. They must communicate clearly and effectively with parents and gain their confidence while being the temporary guardian of their child/children.
The Babysitter must engage the children in activities for the allocated time-period and provide highly personalized and professional service.

What will I be doing?
A Babysitter for Waldorf Astoria Maldives will also be required to ensure the overall needs of parents/guardians are met. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Specifically, as a Babysitter for Waldorf Astoria Maldives you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

· Perform duties according to resort Standard Operating Procedures
· Welcome, greet and assists guests with any requests
· Ensures that the child is always safe and supervised
· Accompanies children when required to the beach and non-beach activities, programs, excursions on or off the island
· Ensures all SOP’s, Risk Assessments, Policies and Procedures and Health guidelines are followed accordingly
· Ensures all necessary registration forms / activity waivers are available at reception and completed correctly by the parents or guardian
· Ensures all the appropriate toys are set up in the villa upon kid’s arrival once availed the babysitting package.
· Ensures all toys are clean and organize before and after it’s used.
· Actively promote and encourage the participation of guest in all activities and events
· Deals with guests, who require special attention with utmost care, accuracy and tolerance
· Ensures all necessary babysitting forms are completed and submitted after duty
· Undertakes other positions within the Kids Club at the request of the Supervisor/ Asst. Manager
· Ensures to update all children profiles pertaining to their preferences, medical conditions/ allergies etc
· Issue job requisitions / orders and repair and maintenance of outlet
· Informs the Supervisor/ Manager if the daily supplies need ordering
· Ensures that Kids Club and facilities are always neat and tidy and in good working condition
· Shows initiate by suggesting new services and anticipates guests needs and discuss with the Recreation Manager
· Reports feedback received to Supervisor /Manager on likes and dislikes of the children in regards to the activities and programs implemented.
· Always communicates customer complaints and compliments to the Supervisor / Manager
· Reports any problems and guest-related incidents to the Supervisor / Manager

· To have a good working relationship with the whole team
· To obtain a buggy license
· Flexibility of being readily available for babysitting services
· The Resort requires that you perform any task deemed necessary by the Recreation Manager for the efficient running of the Kids Club / Recreation Department specifically and the Resort in general.

· Excellent grooming standards
