Job description
Job Requirements
Maintains a consistent schedule of 25 sales calls per week.
Establishes and keeps detailed records for each account within their market segments.
Participates in the daily Departmental Sales briefing and debriefing sessions.
Attends the weekly review, providing feedback and planning calls and entertainment for the following week. Submits a weekly sales activity report to the Director of Sales, focusing on the Government Segment.
Develops Prospects Accounts and executes a Sales Action Plan for each account.
Participates in the beginning of functions related to the accounts managed.
Gathers intelligence information from accounts and competitors.
Collaborates closely with Front Office, Reservations, Food & Beverage, and Banquet & Conference Departments. Carries out assigned duties and special projects.
Attends functions related to the accounts managed. Implements and achieves all sales objectives and action plans to meet and exceed set targets.
Solicits and services both Corporate and Groups business.
Quotes and negotiates corporate contracts and groups business within established parameters, involving the Director of Sales when necessary to finalize contracts.
Coordinates and communicates with the international sales office regarding RFP accounts/markets serviced by Outbound Sales.
Ensures timely response to any business requests within 24 hours. Provides feedback to the Director of Sales on changing marketing conditions and competition trends in their market areas due to direct sales solicitation, telephone, and direct mail.
Arranges hotel site inspections.
Manages incoming calls, ensures messages are taken, and forwards details to the appropriate person.
Attends departmental and communication meetings as requested by the Department Head.
Participates in major events at the hotel and city as requested by the Department Head.

Establishes and maintains files of major accounts and supports the Assistant DOS in managing the accounts system.
Ensures adherence to selling strategies during negotiations and maximizes up-selling opportunities whenever possible. Shares sales-related information with other departments as needed.
Maintains close communication with the Events Management Team during the negotiation process of their accounts.
Performs all duties and responsibilities efficiently and in a timely manner in line with established hotel policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
Conducts regular research on direct competition.
Work Experience
Qualifications
Minimum of one year experience in a similar position
Experience in 4-5 star hotels
Excellent communication skills
Possession of a valid UAE driving license
Bachelor's Degree
Multilingual candidates are preferred.
