Job description
To maximize hotel revenue and occupancy by selling rooms availability and rates to incoming callers and booking reservations. Supports Reservation Manager and Reservations Agents. Oversees Reservations Department in the absence of Reservations Manager. Efficient operation of in-house reservations through selling of guest rooms and maximization of revenues.
What will I be doing?
As Reservations Coordinator, you will work with Guests and customers to respond to enquiries and booking requests in a prompt and professional manner. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Monitor and Analyze Rooms Inventory
· Informs Manager of potential sell out dates
· Monitor Group Blocks and Cutoff Dates
· Process and handle group rooming lists, process reservations requests into the system
· Receives and processes incoming customer reservations.
· Answers calls, returns e-mails and voicemails. Assists guests in booking reservations.
· Offers alternative room types, rates and packages to the customer.
· Maximizes occupancy and average rate by helping to maintain accurate occupancy forecasts.
· Audits OnQ PM for reservations accuracy for special requests, SRP codes and billing requirements.
· Utilizes up sale techniques as appropriate.
· Adheres to rate control procedures based on availability and forecasted occupancy.
Supportive Functions :
· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
· Initiate and prepare reports as needed.
· Handle guest complains and assist reservations agents to utilize MIR Guidelines

· Relevant degree or other qualification
