Purchasing Coordinator

Job description

A Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire purchasing process for the hotel, from receiving purchase requests and obtaining supplier quotations to confirming orders and maintaining accurate records.

What will I be doing?

As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will oversee the purchasing process for various hotel supplies, ensuring all tasks are executed with the highest level of accuracy and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:

Receiving purchase requisitions from different departments

· 
Requesting and obtaining price quotes from multiple suppliers

· 
Reviewing quotations and monitoring the progress of purchase orders

· 
Maintaining direct communication and strong relationships with suppliers

· 
Coordinating and supporting the preparation and scheduling of orders

· 
Managing preset purchase orders (e.g., Market List)

· 
Reviewing daily goods receipt reports

· 
Identifying and reporting any discrepancies in delivered goods regarding quantity, quality, or price

· 
Keeping supplier documentation up to date, including alternative quotes for different product categories

·  Complete Degree or studying in related fields
·  Basic English
·  Basic knowledge of accounting
·  Experience in the Bayer area, preferably in the hospitality industry
·  Ability to analyze and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
·  The ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
·  Sense of organization and planning
·  Good written and verbal communication
·  Team work
·  Good interpersonal relationship
·  Good knowledge in computer science, including Explore, Excel and Word
·  Proactive approach to meet deadlines and objectives
