About the Role
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the hotel team. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, you will support both the Commercial and Operational Teams with the implementation of the marketing plan. Your duties will include:
· Maintain and implement the marketing and communications plan
· Work with the commercial and operational teams to create and manage marketing campaigns, promotional activities, marketing channels and production of marketing material for specific events
· Communicate targeted content via engaging social media posts about the amenities and benefits of the hotel, including hotel refurbishments, food and beverage and meetings and events
· Manage relationships with local partners and media outlets to promote the hotel
· Maintain a comprehensive media and marketing contact management system relevant to the target audiences of the hotel
What are we looking for?
· Previous marketing experience in a similar environment
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Working knowledge of IT programs essential for marketing e.g. InDesign and Canva
· Proven organisational and planning skills
· Ability to work under pressure
· Ability to build and carry out a yearly budget
· Previous hotel or leisure sector experience would be advantageous
