This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical business partner that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a Manager, HSM Accounting on the Consolidations & Reporting team, reporting to the Director of Consolidations, you will act as the main point of contact for US GAAP accounting matters relating to Hilton Supply Management.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

·  Work daily with project managers/Operations to ensure vendor payments and customer billings are accurate
·  Assist project managers with complex vendor and customer account reconciliations
·  Prepare, review, and conduct maintenance of sub-ledgers, prepare monthly journal entries, and review/explain the financial statements once close is complete.
·  Perform general ledger reviews and prepare/review balance sheet reconciliations; Resolve complex discrepancies/outstanding items.

How you will collaborate with others:

·  Manage HSM Accounting Analyst(s)
·  Liaise with Operations, Shared Services, and the Center of Excellence (COE) for day-to-day operations such as A/P, A/R, Invoicing (Customer as well as vendor), Reporting, etc.
·  Be the main point of contact for US GAAP accounting matters relating to Hilton’s HSM business unit.

Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendors and billing to customers

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

·  Five (5) years of work experience in Accounting.
·  Two (2) years of general ledger close experience
·  Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (US GAAP)

It would be useful if you have:

·  BA/BS Bachelor's Degree and MA/MS Master’s Degree
·  Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or exam candidate
·  Knowledge of the wholesale/retail-specific accounting industry
·  Experience with PeopleSoft and/or Hyperion Financial Management
·  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Query
