Job Requirements

·  General Maintenance : Carry out general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC systems, painting, and carpentry.
·  Repairs & Inspections : Conduct regular inspections of the building and equipment to identify and address any maintenance issues before they become urgent.
·  Guest Rooms : Ensure that guest rooms and public areas are in perfect condition. This may include light fixtures, furniture repairs, appliance maintenance, and general cleaning.
·  Health & Safety Compliance : Maintain compliance with safety regulations, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly maintained, and keeping records of repairs and inspections.
·  Emergency Response : Be available for emergency repairs, including plumbing or electrical issues, 24/7 on a rotating schedule.
·  Stock Management : Monitor and replenish supplies for maintenance work, keeping the inventory up to date and ensuring the right materials are available when needed.
·  Collaboration : Work closely with the team to ensure the smooth running of the property and other departments, including housekeeping and front desk.

Work Experience

·  Proven experience in a maintenance role, ideally within a hospitality setting or similar environment.
·  Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems, and general building maintenance.
·  Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrate initiative, and follow detailed instructions.
·  Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
·  A valid driver’s license and access to transport, as the role may require travel between sites.
·  Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
·  Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with both guests and staff.
·  A positive attitude, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
