Job description
Responsible for the administration of the entire sushi bar area.
Experience
A minimum of 1 year of Omakase or direct sushi counter customer interaction experience required.
Licenses or Certificates
ServSafe Certification.
Supportive Functions
Preparation of fish and meats to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
Coordinates and expedites the kitchen staff to accelerate service and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
Sets up Daily Specials and Happy Hour Food according to schedule and spaces.
Provides a safe working environment while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
Communicates any challenges to the Executive Chef.
Coordinates production charts and oversees requisition procedures.
Set up, restock, maintain food preparation areas and make sure requisitions are filled out daily.
Quality and consistency of all food served from the lines.
Assist in the directing and correcting the presentation and portioning of food.
Coordinate all food orders between stations and food servers.
Responsible for food quality and control and proper plate presentation.
Prepares food in accordance with Omakase Standards.
