Job description

A Kids Club Attendant is the ultimately responsible for overall care, hospitality and service given to our younger guests (3-12) throughout their stay, to create unforgettable memories of their holidays and specifically in assisting the Kids Club. Activities, toddler’s daytime child minding service, baby-sitting and hosting at Kids Club.

What will I be doing?

                  Comply with all Hilton Worldwide company policies.

      Comply with all Security Procedures implemented with hotel and department.

      Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by Spa Director.

      The management reserves the right to change/extend this statement if necessary, at any point of time during her/his employment.

      The holder of this statement can be asked to take on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework

     Open and prepare Kids Club for daily activities; ensuring all supplies and events are ready for the day.

     Plan ahead and prepare for activities according to the activity calendar.

     Greet and welcome all incoming and outgoing guests and staff in accordance with Hotel Brand Standards.

     Responsible for general cleaning duties in Kids Club including disinfecting toys.

     To be motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seizing opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge to improve your personal performance.

      Able to direct and escort young guests to all areas of the hotel appropriate for activities, supervise the group of young guests and coordinate the meal breaks as agreed upon with guardians.

      To actively promote the services and facilities of the Hotel and Waldorf Astoria Hotels to guests and suppliers.

      To be fully familiar with the Waldorf Astoria Service Delivery Standards and the Quality Assurance Audit and to follow these standards of service as they apply to the Kids Club Department.

      To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel Brand policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety and fun environment.

        Provide guests with information on special events, private dinners, excursions, Internet access etc., if needed.

        Provide babysitting services upon guest/GM request.

        Always try to go the “extra mile” with every single guest and anticipate his/her needs.

        To keep up to date with the SALT results and to seek to positively influence these results by following the Waldorf Brand Service standards.

        To ensure special focus on all children in the resort to provide them with a memorable holiday.

        Seeks to minimize costs through correct use and handling of hotel property and equipment.

        The Luxury of Being Themselves through an Individual, Genuine, Vibrant, Contemporary and Discerning service, seeking to always maintain a pleasant and hassle-free working environment.

        Conduct your daily duties with integrity, respect and ownership to ensure that you maintain strong relationships to the Kids Club department by contributing positive attitude for both guests and fellow team members support and respect at all times, seeking to always maintain a pleasant and hassle-free working environment.

        Welcome families and register children at the Kid’s club, handling reservations and payments, up-selling the Kid’s club services and performing related administrative duties.

        Organize and accompany children’s activities according to the Kid’s club concept, always providing safe care and a personalized and  intuitive service. 

        Handling kids club consumables and merchandising stock, managing available material.

        Coordinate in-room entertainment game rental with Concierge

        Assist on coordinating child amenities and the Kid’s club gifts.

        Personalized child-minding services (evening baby-sitting and toddler’s daytime service)

        Organizing and accompanying the Kid’s club outdoor activities, swimming-pool activities and kids sports

        Using CRM tool, observing young guests’ special requests and preferences

        Request the Kid’s club cleaning or maintenance when necessary.

A Kids Club Attendant serving Hilton Brand Hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

·  High School Graduate or equivalent required
·  Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
·  Intermediate English language skills
·  Basic computer knowledge

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

·  Previous customer service experience
