Job description

Job Title :  IT Manager

Work Location :  Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center

Reporting To :  Director of Finance

IT Manager responsible for Information Technology issues, products, and services at the property. Provides user training and support of all property/site systems, network enhancements, hardware and software support. Maintains inventory of all hardware products and software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements. Supervises, supports and trains staff of Technology Services Specialists.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 Property Support 

· 
Coordinates design and implementation to ensure alignment with area/cluster objectives and corporate strategic IT direction.

· 
Identifies and implements solutions to user challenges. 

Operations

· 
Performs his/her duties as Hilton Technology Network Administrator in compliance with HHC Standards.

· 
Coordinates upgrades and maintains the directory structure on network servers.

· 
Monitors, Diagnoses and adjusts performance on LAN and network servers.

· 
Manages shared technology resources.

· 
Insures standard LAN backup and archiving procedures on network servers.

· 
Insures periodic preventative maintenance on machines to ensure their reliability and availability.

· 
Sites specific essential functions & supportive functions.

Management/Supervision

· 
Works closely with property management to ensure smooth running of the network and assist in helping to maintain the site systems.

· 
Manages/directs hardware, software, and network setup and installation, ensuring compliance with HTN standards and certification process, including acceptance testing and providing direction to outside installation resources.

· 
Manages a staff of Technology Services Specialists to provide on-site users and guests support related to software applications, hardware and network connectivity

· 
Manages and maintains payroll in accordance with budgetary guidelines.

· 
Hires and trains staff.

Supportive Functions

· 
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.

· 
Assist with other areas of Technology Services as required.

· 
Assist the Delivery Support System Support or Chief Information Office in projects as required.

· 
Support other departments as needed.

· 
Support hotel guests as needed.

Who are we looking for?

We seek a dynamic finance professional with at least five years of progressive IT Managers serving Hilton brands are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

· 
Previous IT management experience, preferably in the hotel, leisure, and/or service sector

· 
Proficient in English and Turkish

· 
Experience of all Microsoft systems

· 
Experience of hotel applications, such as Fidelio and Micros, preferred

· 
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

· 
Current technical skills and knowledge of technology

· 
General understanding of IT infrastructure trends and technologies, including networks, databases, business applications, and development methodology

· 
Ability to plan ahead and develop contingency plans, where necessary

· 
Ability to work in a team

· 
Excellent attention to detail

· 
Positive Attitude
