The HR Officer implements Human Resources policies and systems framework as directed by his / her superior, maintaining good team member relations. 

 

What will I be doing?  

As the HR Officer, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

• Develop and maintain current payroll processing procedures. 
• Perform payroll processing and month end closing of payroll. 
• Manage and prepare the issuing of payroll.
• Set up, maintain and manage the hotel attendance system, ensuring that the attendance and payroll processes are approved, calculation is accurate, and all procedures comply with hotel policies and regulations. 
• Provide efficient and timely support to the Paymaster. 
• Handle the onboard and offboarding for Level 1 – Level 6 team members.  
• Manage and supervise the filing of payroll reports.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times and safeguarding all related documents and records.
• Maintain relationships with the Department of Labor and the Department of Immigration and Emigration.
• Adhere to the hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures.
• Provide necessary information and explanations to team members promptly and accurately as required. 
• Implement the hotel policies and procedures regarding team member salary and benefits. 
• Ensure that all team members have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s team member rules and regulations.
• Assist to organize team member activities and communication meetings.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What are we looking for?  

A Human Resources Officer serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: 

• Bachelor’s degree and above.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity in international chain hotels.
• Excellent command of written and spoken in English, to meet business needs.
• Good organization and coordination skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good knowledge of Labor Law.
• Thorough knowledge of payroll, salary, employment and benefits administrations.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Able to maintain excellent relations with team members.
