Summary
Responsible for handling daily housekeeping and laundry operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Maintain the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Achieve the performance of the housekeeping and laundry department, train, and work alongside the staff to ensure all hotel areas are clean, sanitized and in tip-top condition.

· Assign daily room and public area cleaning tasks
· Inspect rooms for cleanliness, service and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms conducting quality inspections of those areas
· Ensure all operational and safety procedures are properly followed
· Establishes the schedule and plans daily work assignments
· Create room assignment lists
· Trains and coach’s housekeeping and laundry staff
· Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving housekeeping problems and guests’ complaints
· Demonstrate leadership and training to staff
· Communicate effectively with staff
· Handles inventory of cleaning supplies and linen.
· Fill in during call-outs and busy periods
· As needed, compile and report accurate guest-room status to Front Office team

Supervisory Responsibility
This role oversees the housekeeping and laundry staff.
Work Environment:
Occasional exposure to standard cleaning chemicals, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Work is performed in a well-ventilated environment with PPE provided. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Must follow all OSHA and Hilton safety protocols.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position regularly requires extended hours as business dictates, must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position. Must have reliable transportation to work.
Required Experience
Housekeeping Experience in Hotel Environment in leadership role.
Preferred Education
High school diploma or GED diploma preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be legally authorized to work in the country.
