Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is a Coastal Retreat with Breathtaking views of the Pacific Coast and Torrey Pines Golf Course. This Luxury Property boasts 394 spacious guest rooms and over 60,000sq ft of event space with people traveling all over the world to take advantage of all the amenities. The front desk is where the magic begins and ends as guests are checking in and out daily.
The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for assigning work, training our Guest Service Agents and ensuring the completion of daily tasks in Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing?
· Assign work and supervise team member performance in all Front Office procedures including, but not limited to, guest check-in and check-out, lobby traffic and flow, luggage assistance, telephone operator services and determining room rates and availability.
· Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues and complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
· Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints.
· Schedule, assign daily work, lead pre-shift meetings, inform and train team members.
· Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance.
· Monitor lobby traffic and adjust staffing accordingly.
What are we looking for?
- 1 year hotel experience preferred
- full availability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays a must
- previous supervisory experience a plus!

The hourly rate for this role is $22.25 and is based upon applicable and specialized experience and location.
Additionally, this role requires open availability and at least 1 year of Front desk experience.
