Job description

An Groups and Events Executive will be responsible for selling and organizing groups and groups with events at the hotel and achieving the Group and Catering goals established in Budget and Forecast

 

What will I be doing?

   

As a Groups and Events Executive, you will maximize revenue opportunities in the areas groups and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. The Groups and Events Executive will interact frequently with customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, a  G & E Executive will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  

· 
·  Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue 
·  Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team
·  Preparation of Proposal, BEOs, groups instructions, contracts and addendums
·  Work with the systems (Delphi, R&I, and Opera) to create group blocks, RL, block updates and related
·  Manage an events schedule to maximize yield
·  Work in cooperation with the sales manager providing support in checking the availability of the rooms offered
·  Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
·  Arrange and carry out Hotel site inspections
·  Ensure the complete administration and execution of all groups and events
·  Monitor the groups and events in-house events together with the operations team
·  Participate in hotel promotional activities

·  Demonstrated previous experience working in the Conference and Events function
·  Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
