This is your chance to be part of a Global Sales Team that ensures Hilton owners and operators receive the combined benefits of scale, access, competence, and experience. As a Director Sales Worldwide Accounts , you will support the team responsible for providing a differentiated selling platform for Hilton's diverse portfolio of brands by being relentlessly motivated to grow market share. On the Canada Group Sales team reporting to the Assistant Managing Director of Sales - Canada, you will focus on accounts in the financial, insurance, professional consulting and third-party segments.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

·  Account Management: Facilitate the account planning strategy to grow revenue and market share for Hilton, while following Hilton's governance protocols
·  Drive Performance: Use data tools to monitor trends and support strategic decisions.
·  Lead Generation: mine for opportunities within existing accounts to build incremental revenue.
·  Client Engagement: Provide exceptional service while identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and account growth, including quarterly account reviews.
·  Subject Matter Expert: On all Hilton brands and Honors loyalty program.
·  Industry Leadership: Represent Hilton at several events and provide market insights to guide business strategy.

How you will collaborate with others:

·  Collaborate with teams including Sales Support, Regional Marketing, Owner's Relations, and other HWS Sales teams to find optimal solutions for the enterprise and customers.
·  Network with business decision-makers and executives to influence positive buying behaviors.
·  Attend regular HWS Canada team and greater Hilton meetings for sales updates and to learn about corporate initiatives.
·  Partner with Hotels in Canada and Internationally to maximize our customer promise and build loyalty.

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

·  Provide accurate forecasting and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
·  Understand industry trends that impact customer buying behaviors and offer innovative solutions to drive client engagement and strengthen relationships
·  Embrace ongoing learning and growth by sharing market insights and product knowledge with partners and across Hilton teams.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

·  Ten (10) years of hotel/travel sales and account management experience (at national and/or global level)
·  Experience analyzing data and making data-centric recommendations
·  Experience working the Financial, Insurance, Consulting, Manufacturing, Retail and Third-party market segments in Canada
·  Travel up to 40%, including domestic and international travel

It would be useful if you have:

·  Bachelor's Degree
·  Knowledge and use of Delphi or similar property sales management system
·  Experience using Salesforce (CRM)
·  Experience with hotel contracting and negotiations globally
·  Experience with both Group & Business Transient sales
·  Preferably based in the Greater Toronto Area
