Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is looking for a dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to lead the team!

Located atop the bluffs of Torrey Pines adjacent to the world-famous Torrey Pines Golf Course, this property has 394 rooms, 60,000 square feet of banquet space, and 5 food and beverage outlets. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, lounge, cafe, seasonal pool bar, and in-room dining.

The ideal candidate will be an engaging leader who has a talent for inspiring and building winning teams. We are looking for a hands on Director of Food & Beverage who is a master at building relationships, thinking outside the box, and has a true passion for food & beverage programming. This leader must have solid experience in managing multiple outlets, proven success in leading a banquet operation, and experience with budgeting and forecasting. Financial acumen is a must!

What will I be doing?

·  Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
·  Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
·  Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
·  Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
·  Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.

The annual salary range for this role is $130,000-$140,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
