Our new restaurant launched in June 2023 is the heart of the hotel eating and drinking experience.

Buzzy and fast paced from morning to late, with friendly and informal service in a landmark address.

Located on the ground floor we offer a fine casual all day destination, with outdoor seating overlooking Hyde Park.

We will be serving a breakfast buffet with live cooking stations and an all-day a la carte menu along with a signature afternoon tea. Our modern British approach, combined with traditional and international flavours creates a simple menu perfect for an everyday treat, casual lunch, business meeting or celebratory dinner.

Salary: £13 per hour + service charge

Paid for all hours worked including overtime   – based on a 39 hour week

What will I be doing as a Commis Chef?

·  Ensure consistent great food production, in line with the high quality standards expected by Hilton
·  Perform tasks within a timely manner
·  Provide support to the Kitchen brigade
·  Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
·  Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
·  Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues

What are we looking for?

·  Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef
·  Positive attitude
·  Good communication skills
·  Ability to work under pressure
·  Proven ability to work with a team and to follow instruction
·  A passion to learn and a drive to succeed in a culinary/hospitality career
·  Proof of completion in a basic food hygiene course

   

ELIGIBILITY

·  In line with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must have the eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
·  Documentation is required at interview stage (for EU Nationals share code requested to check EU Settled/Pre-Settled status)
