Position Purpose
The Cluster Payroll Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the payroll functions across multiple hotels within the cluster. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and provides support and guidance to the payroll team.
Duties & Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
· Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll for all hotels within the cluster, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Verify and reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, deductions, and benefits.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and labor laws.
Compliance and Reporting
· Ensure all payroll-related taxes and statutory deductions are accurately calculated and remitted on time.
· Prepare and submit required payroll reports to management and regulatory bodies.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and ensure compliance across the cluster.
System Management
· Manage payroll systems and software, ensuring data integrity and security.
· Implement and maintain payroll procedures and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
· Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues in collaboration with IT and software vendors.
Audit and Reconciliation
· Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
· Prepare and review payroll-related journal entries and account reconciliations.
Continuous Improvement
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in payroll management.
· Stay informed about industry trends and changes in payroll regulations.
· Lead or participate in payroll-related projects and initiatives.
Requirements
· Extensive experience in payroll processing and management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
· Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor laws.
· Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with owners, stakeholders, and team member
· Proficiency in English and Vietnamese; additional languages are a plus.
Qualifications
· A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Excel proficiency.
