Job description

We are expanding our Groups, Meetings & Events Team and are looking for Executives and Co-Ordinators to join our Commercial Team at Hilton Malta, dealing mainly with the MICE business.

 

 

The selected candidate will work with and support the Groups, Meetings and Events Team with:

·         Receiving and converting incoming enquiries, to achieve targets and maximize revenue

·         Driving sales activities and achieving business objectives

·         Build and maintain good relationships with clients

·         Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds

·         Participate in hotel promotional activities

·         Logistics and  handling of events

·         Liaising with clients/ group organisers to make necessary arrangements for events

·         Working with hotel departments to ensure a smooth operation during events

·         Timely organisation and distribution of all administrative documents

 

What are we looking for?

 

We are looking for team members with operational or sales experience. The applicant needs to be a team player who has the ability to work well both with the Commercial team and the Operations team, has the ability to build strong relationship with customers and also be pro-active in finding innovative ways of generating revenue for the hotel. Knowledge of event planning and/or food and beverage is also necessary in order to ensure excellent execution of the events being taken care of.

Fluency in both written and Spoken English is required whilst good knowledge of Maltese and another language will be considered an asset.
