Job description
What will you be doing?
• Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
• Manage conference & events room blocks and rooming lists in accordance to hotel strategy and customer needs
• Attend pre & post conference client meetings
• Handle all wedding enquiries and proactively promote the weddings packages to guests
• Ensure a successful client event by working together with the Front Office and Event Planning team
• Participate in hotel promotional activities
• Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
• Complete quality checks in line with company standards
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge about the hotel and local area
• Manage telephone and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company strategy & standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
• Participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales process as necessary
•Maintaining and providing accurate reports for the department as and when required
• To actively promote the hotel and facilities by entertaining clients and agents as necessary
• Ensure the accurate administration of all bookings and related correspondence including billing details.
• Assist the Cluster Groups, Conference and Event Sales Manager as and when required
• Collating market intelligence and have an understanding of competitors strengths and weaknesses.
