Position Purpose
As the Cluster Director of Human Resources, you will develop and implement a human resources strategy that supports the long-term business goals and culture of the hotels within the cluster. You will monitor and evaluate HR management effectiveness, providing data-driven decision support to senior management. Additionally, you will offer HR advice and solutions to aid business decision-making.
In this role, you will be a key advisor to senior management, ensuring HR practices align with company goals and foster a positive company culture. You will lead by example, promoting continuous improvement and collaboration across all departments. Your strategic vision and leadership will be essential in driving the cluster’s success and maintaining a supportive work environment.
Duties & Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Management
· Develop HR strategies aligned with the overall company strategy to support business objectives.
· Shape and maintain a positive culture that fosters team member engagement and organizational commitment.
Leadership and Team Management
· Demonstrate strong leadership skills, coaching, and motivating the HR team while driving HR policies and procedures.
· Effectively manage the change process during environmental changes, including communicating changes, addressing team member concerns, and ensuring smooth implementation.
Communication
· Communicate effectively with all levels of team members, management, and external partners to ensure clear and consistent information flow.
Talent Management
· Identify, develop, and retain talent, including establishing effective recruitment, training, and succession plans.
Decision Making
· Make well-informed decisions in complex and uncertain situations, taking responsibility for the outcomes.
Adaptability
· Adapt to a rapidly changing work environment and demonstrate flexibility in adjusting HR practices.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Workforce Planning : Oversee workforce planning, ensuring the right talent is in place to meet business needs.
· Performance Management : Implement and manage performance management systems to drive employee performance and development.
· Compensation and Benefits : Develop and manage compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
· Employee Relations : Handle employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
· Health and Safety : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
· HR Technology : Utilize HR technology efficiently to streamline HR processes and improve service delivery.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Cluster Director of Human Resources (DHR) or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry, with a successful track record of driving operational success.
· Extensive experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
· Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations to ensure compliance with all relevant policies.
· Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
· Expertise in talent management, including recruitment, training, and succession planning.
· Adherence to the highest professional ethics and standards, maintaining integrity and transparency.
· Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and foster high levels of employee engagement.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships with owners, stakeholders, and staff.
· Proficiency in English and Vietnamese; additional languages are a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above is usually required, with background in human resource management or related majors.
