Job Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef with strong experience in Levantine cuisine to support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of traditional Levantine dishes, ingredients, and cooking techniques, while ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
·  Prepare and oversee authentic Levantine dishes, including hot and cold mezze, grills, and traditional specialties
·  Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
·  Supervise kitchen team and provide training when required
·  Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
·  Assist with menu planning, costing, and inventory control
·  Minimize food waste and ensure efficient kitchen operations
·  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Work Experience

·  Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie specializing in Levantine cuisine
·  Strong knowledge of Levantine ingredients, spices, and cooking methods
·  Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
·  Good leadership and communication skills
·  Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred
·  Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
