Job Requirements

The Spring House Hotel Rome Vatica, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Breakfast Manager to join our team. As the Breakfast Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our breakfast service. This includes welcoming and serving guests, managing the buffet and training and supervising the breakfast team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the daily operations of the breakfast service, including setting up and maintaining the buffet, ensuring food quality and presentation, and managing inventory

- Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive dining experience

- Train and supervise the breakfast team, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and providing ongoing training and development

- Monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with company and industry regulations

- Create and update breakfast menus, taking into consideration guest preferences and dietary restrictions

- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner

- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to ensure a seamless guest experience

- Manage and control costs, including labor and food expenses, to meet budgetary goals

- Maintain a clean and organized breakfast area at all times

- Work closely with Management to develop and implement strategies to improve breakfast service and increase guest satisfaction

Work Experience

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in managing breakfast operations in a hotel or restaurant setting

- Strong leadership skills and ability to train and motivate a team

- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle guest complaints effectively

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

- Ability to create and maintain breakfast menus and manage inventory

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work early mornings, also on weekends and holidays

- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or related field is a plus
