Job description
What will I be doing?
To lead the beverage service team by overseeing daily bar operations, ensuring quality control, maintaining stock and sanitation standards, and providing strong team leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences in all beverage outlets.
Operations & Service Excellence
· Supervise bartenders/cashiers, barbacks, and other beverage team members to ensure seamless and professional service.
· Ensure all bars are adequately stocked, set up, and maintained before, during, and after each shift.
· Oversee beverage preparation and service techniques to ensure compliance with brand and quality standards.
· Support and assist team members during peak service periods and cover shifts when necessary.
Team Leadership & Scheduling
· Inspire and lead the beverage team by providing coaching, support, and positive reinforcement.
· Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials, promotions, VIP guest preferences, and key operational updates.
· Schedule team members based on forecasted business volume to ensure adequate coverage across all outlets.
Health, Safety & Cleanliness
· Ensure all bar areas meet health, sanitation, and safety requirements in accordance with local law and Hilton brand policies.
· Oversee cleaning and maintenance routines and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
· Conduct frequent walk-throughs and inspections of bar stations, storage rooms, and service areas.
Inventory, Systems & Controls
· Monitor stock levels, coordinate with the Beverage Manager on requisitions, and conduct periodic inventory audits.
· Ensure accurate sales tracking and reporting using POS systems (e.g., Agilysys).
· Support bar cost controls and minimize waste through efficient pouring practices and team compliance.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
· Previous experience in hotel industry
· Previous experience in supervising and/or delegation
· Willingness to develop team members and self
Education and License/Certificates:
· EPI diploma (Secondary Vocational Education, HAVO or equivalent
· Valid Aruba Health Card (Green Card)
