Job Description
Role Mission
The role of the Public Relations Assistant is to support the department in driving the brand’s overall awareness through daily communication with the media and to help generate high quality product editorial for the brand in North America. The assistant works directly with the GAI and Worldwide (WW) teams to support the US and Canada markets, and provides daily support to the Public Relations team.
Key Accountabilities
· Maintain sample inventory;
· Manage sample delivery shipments from Italy;
· Communicate with national and regional magazines in order to facilitate product requests;
· Manage relationships with junior level editors;
· Supply credit information to all magazines;
· Coordinate all incoming and outgoing PR samples;
· Prepare and disseminate daily press clippings;
· Monitor and report on competitor brand activity;
· Generate monthly DMR reports;
· Liaise with the GAI and WW teams to coordinate samples when needed.

Key Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1+ years’ experience working in the fashion industry,
· Sample trafficking experience either at a fashion brand or on the agency side;
· Experience working with stylists and editors;
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and FashionGPS;
· Strong interpersonal and relationship--building skills;
· Appreciation and understanding of the luxury fashion industry;
· Knowledge of DMR reporting a plus;
· Must be highly organized, detailed oriented and able to work in a fasted paced environment;
· Strong writing and verbal skills.
Work Authorization
