Your Responsibilities :
The Vaccine and distribution Cold Chain Technology team within the GSK Vaccines Global Supply Chain Division is responsible to define the cold chain distribution strategy and define the most optimal way to keep our vaccines within defined temperature limits during a shipment by air, road, rail or sea. It prepares and drives the company for the future with solutions that are more robust in terms of cold chain performance while reducing the total cost for distribution and bring added value to our customers.

The Cold Chain Technology team leads the processes to make the cold chain packaging solution available for the Operations through internal and external change control processes. This includes selection and approval of supplier and cold chain qualifications in close collaboration with the suppliers.

As the scope of the team is global, the strategy needs to be deployed to the entire GSK Vaccines' network. Regular meetings with other international sites and customers are taking place.

Your responsibilities are:
• Manage strategic and complex Cold Chain & Distribution project
• Coordinate the implementation of innovative cold chain solutions with the Vaccines distribution sites located in Belgium, Canada, Germany, Italy, Singapore and the US.
• Prepare the global validation plan to support the implementation of the new solutions in the GSK Vaccines global sites
• Establish and perform validation protocols and reports (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Coordinate the implementation via the GSK Vaccines change control process
• Coordinate the change with GSK stakeholders such as procurement, warehouse operations, logistic operations, quality, regulatory, finance and receiving sites across the world.
• Coordinate the change between the GSK stakeholders and the different suppliers of the cold chain solutions.

Basic qualifications:
The candidate should have an interest in getting an overview of all aspects of the Supply Chain function of a large company

Certificate: Master in Business, technical, Scientific, Logistic
Linguistic knowledge: Fluent in English (work inside an international environment), spoken and written; knowledge of French is a plus.
Technical knowledge: Supply chain (Logistics), Cold Chain, Project Management or Validation

Preferred qualifications:
At ease with Change Management and Project Management
Good analytical skills, at ease with technical topics
Good communication abilities
Able to deal with uncertainty and to aggregate information coming from various sources

The Cold Chain Technology group coordinates the initiatives related to the Thermostability Programs for the vaccines. It is also responsible for the management of different quality and regulatory processes linked to distribution activities such as customs processes (e.g. AEO certification), risk assessment methodology (e.g. Distribution Risk Assessments), etc.
