WHY THIS GRADUATE PROGRAM?
Strategic Marketing is organized by Business Units (Small Domestic Appliances, Cookware, Professional) and is at the heart of innovation. Strategic Marketing teams identify key topics on the market, analyze consumers expectations and major trends in society and then define and implement product policy. This upstream approach ensures consumer needs are fully understood, wherever they may be in the world, and is essential to developing a pertinent product portfolio.
The goal of this Graduate Program is to train a Strategic Marketing expert in Cookware thanks to through three different assignments in key locations for Cookware in the Group.

YOUR MISSIONS:

- Mission 1: January 2021 to December 2021 - Strategic Marketing Cookware (Rumilly, France)
Located in Rumilly near Annecy, the Business Unit Cookware operates as supervision of product strategy and development for cookware products worldwide, supporting different key product categories (Brands: TEFAL, LAGOSTINA, EMSA…). 11 factories (France, Germany, USA, South America, China, Vietnam, Egypt) serve more than 50 markets all around the world.
Your focus will be on the Pots category: global strategy, product roadmaps, communication plan, innovation and new product development. While reporting to the International Product Director and working closely with an International Product Manager, you will:
- Analyze market needs and trends (sell-out, competitive intelligence, internal sales…)
- Create and support the strategic marketing plan for the new product portfolio
- Be involved in different stages of the product development process, working alongside various teams such as R&D, Design, Logistics, the Legal department and external agencies.
- Manage the communication plan and content creation for product launches in key markets: videos, packaging, user manuals, online content…)
- You will have the freedom to explore new business models responding to new practices and growth of online sales (strategy and action plan).

- Mission 2: January 2022 to June 2022 - Strategic Marketing Cookware (Emsdetten, Germany)
You will work for EMSA, a German-based company that designs, manufactures and sells kitchen tools and accessories: thermos, carafes, kitchen utensils, mugs, food storage containers… EMSA factories are located in Emsdetten, Taicang and Ho Chi Minh City. Reporting to the Product Strategy and Development Director, you will work on product development in the biggest Cookware market for the Group. You will:
- Help in the development and execution of marketing plans and promotional materials to drive growth on your category
- Perform competitive analysis including market trends
- Produce monthly sales analysis reports to evaluate brand and product performance
- Assist in the preparation of customer line reviews and presentations
- Assist in approving marketing materials (packaging development, product information booklets, signage…)
- Help with day-to-day activities

- Mission 3: July 2022 to December 2022 - Strategic Marketing & Business Development Cookware (Parsippany, USA)
You will join Groupe SEB USA, near New York, in the Cookware Business Unit and contribute on Pots, Pans and Kitchenware products developments. Thanks to your previous experience in Cookware, you will have to implement a new distribution strategy to develop our sales in a complex and competitive market. Specific duties include:

- Business Planning and Management- Deliver Budgeted Net Sales, Direct Marketing Contribution and Consolidated Profit Margin
- Develop channel strategy and product roadmaps
- Manage product portfolio and P&L- Analyze monthly business performance and market performance results
- Make recommendations and execute plans to drive improvements
- Lead all competitive analysis efforts to identify new product opportunities
- Product Development and Commercialization- Serve as liaison with Strategic Business Unit to develop new products
- Lead all efforts to create best in class digital content for product launches (SEO content, Video, Photography)
- Manage all merchandising efforts, including packaging and planogram development
- Partner with Sales Organization to support product sell-in with promotional programs and retail materials
- Work with consumer experience team to manage omnichannel activation efforts

Desired profile

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduated with a master's degree or equivalent in 2018, 2019 or 2020
- Previous study period or work experience outside your home country
- International mobility
- Fluent in French and English
- Knowledge of German would be considered a plus
