Role Summary/Purpose

The Tender and Proposal Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities

This is a key role within the team
· Review and analysis of customer's specification, co-ordinate with Engineering department and Application Engineer in order to identify the suitable products, solutions, and services based on customer's requirement.
· Offer preparation in line with company policy and tools (owner of the offer process) and offer preparation to customers
· Analyze the customer specifications and propose/tender appropriate products and solutions to maximize order intake while not compromising the company's profitability.
· Attend site survey and tender clarification with customer as and when required.
· Co-ordinate and support front office sales team when required.
· Keeping the tendering folder organized and updated with latest submission.

Desired profile

Qualifications/Requirements

To be successful in this role, you would possess
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering,Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science (or a high school diploma with at least 5 years of IT, engineering, scientific or other technical experience)
· Engineering knowledge of electrical substation system, protection and control is an advantage.
