Maintains cleanroom equipment and auxiliary systems used to develop state of the art sensors and semiconductor devices. Performs both preventative and unplanned maintenance, maintains spare parts inventory, and coordinates maintenance with external vendors as needed. Drives initiatives to improve the operations of the cleanroom and interfaces across functions for effective coordination of activities. Accountable for the quality of own work. Will interact with the quality leader, engineers, and customers to drive overall equipment effectiveness.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Proven equipment expertise, executing maintenance tasks independently
  • Responsible for driving operational metrics such as equipment uptime; implementing lean to drive continual improvement
  • Interfacing with Quality Leader and Engineering to ensure quality objectives are met
  • Coordinate with facilities on trades work, infrastructure projects, and safety relevant to the cleanroom equipment

Required Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma plus at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a cleanroom setting
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.  

Desired Characteristics

  • Associates degree in relevant technical discipline with at least 2 years of experience
  • Hands on experience and technical expertise with cleanroom equipment and vacuum systems
  • Experience interacting with vendors and customers
  • Strong skills and experience with both electrical and mechanical systems

The base pay range for this position is 1,400 - 2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.  This posting is expected to close on October 30, 2024
