Role Summary/Purpose
The Sourcing SRG (Supplier Responsibility Guidance) leader conduct China SRG related activities and ensure sourcing compliance. These responsibilities include achieving stated goals and objectives in the areas of audit completion rate, finding on-time closure rate, training completion rate, compliance requirements, implementation of compliance requirements and improvement at suppliers etc.
Essential Responsibilities
- Certified as SRG auditor
- Conduct SRG audit for existing supplier and new supplier per requirement
- Follow up the audit findings to be correctly closed on time.
- Review periodically with related parties and share the best practice among team
- Escalate overdue findings to Leaders and SRG core team
- Conduct supplier awareness training.
- Participate Country SRG council and business SRG reviews.
- Report Country/or regional SRG matrix on monthly basis to HQs Sourcing EHS
Quality Specific Goals:
- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Knowledge and understanding of GEHC Purchasing Controls Procedure and associated Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that all purchased product and services conform to specified requirements.
- Develop and maintaining of fully qualified and compliant supply base.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor or above degree.
- 2+ years work experience ( internship excluded) with knowledge in sourcing, manufacturing , supply chain, supplier quality team, or supplier capability team or process improvement related.
- Demonstrated leadership, energizing in cross-functional, global teams environment
- Demonstrate strong execution and project management skills, including the ability to drive change in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify & implement process improvements/best practices
- Proficiency with system usage, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets development and analysis.
- Willing to take frequent travel (50%+)
Desired Characteristics
- Supplier audit experience
- PMP certification
- Greenbelt or Black Belt (preferred) Certification
- Expertise in local laws OR regulations of EHS and Labor
- Sharp thinking, positive attitude and open mind.
- High level of organization skills and facilitation skills, including solid presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- OMLP or Leadership Program graduate.
