Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for a front end software developer within the Life Sciences business. As a front end developer at GE Healthcare you will be a part of a highly skilled and talented global team.
Essential Responsibilities

·  The main tasks is to implement the user interface for Biacore instrument systems.

·  You will analyze functional and design requirements in order to understand needed implementation in the user interface.

·  You will work closely with application specialist, UX Designers and back end software developers, in order to merge business logic with back end functionality while not loosing usability desired

·  You will monitor development of UX/UI guidelines and ways of working

·  You will develop prototypes to be used in UX/UI evaluations as part of development work

·  You will be part of the internal UX/UI team developing ways of working and selecting tools used

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

·  B.Sc. degree with relevant technical software focus, or comparable level of competence.

·  Experience of UI development

·  Experience of implementing in C#/.Net

·  Experience in WPF/XAML

·  A strong interest and ability in developing modern and great looking user interfaces

·  Energetic and self-motivated with the ability to quickly embrace and understand new technologies/ways of working

·  Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)

Desired Characteristics

·  Experience in Behavior-Driven development and Test-Driven Development, BDD and TDD

·  Experience in the architectural pattern MVVM

·  Experinece in using HTML and CSS

·  Experience in UI/graphical design

·  Experience of prototyping and prototyping tools

·  Understanding of UX concepts

·  Experience with Adobe products

·  Experience with Agile development best practices

·  Excellent communication and analytic skills

·  Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics

·  Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high quality products
