The Software Delivery manager is responsible for the technical delivery of GE's GridOs software products to meet the schedule, cost and quality commitments.
This is achieved by combining technical expertise and product knowledge to lead project delivery.
This role suits applicants with advanced leadership and technical skill set. It involves a high degree of customer contact, consultancy and liaison with product and project teams across Asia-Pacific and globally.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
·
Lead the technical implementation of GridOS solutions across utility customers.
·
Act as technical lead for GridOS architecture, configuration, integration, and deployment.
·
Design and deliver complex GridOS system components and end-to-end solutions.
·
Lead build, configuration, installation, and upgrade activities, both on-site and remote.
·
Serve as GridOS Product SME for complex functional and technical issues.
·
Advise customers on GridOS capabilities, system design options, and best practices.
·
Support customer testing activities including test strategy, execution, and issue resolution.
·
Engage closely with customers throughout the implementation lifecycle from design to go-live and stabilization.
·
Provide best-practice guidance on workflows, system setup, data preload, cutover, and go-live readiness.
·
Coordinate implementation activities across internal GE teams and customer stakeholders.
·
Lead current-state, future-state, and gap analysis workshops.
·
Mentor and support other GE team members on complex GridOS implementations.
·
Provide support for existing GridOS customers as needed, including coverage during planned or unplanned support absences.
·
Apply GE execution methodology, delivery standards, and quality frameworks.
·
Maintain strong customer relationships through clear and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
·
Advanced and demonstrated experience in software implementation, utility systems delivery, or business consulting.
·
Proven experience leading technical teams or acting as technical lead on complex system implementations.
·
Excellent hands-on experience with utility systems such as SCADA, DMS, OMS, preferably within an ADMS context.
·
Experience with GridOS, PowerOn ADMS, or similar GE utility platforms is a great advantage.

Exceptional prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple GridOS customer engagements in parallel.

Confidence interacting with utility customers at all levels, from operators to executive stakeholders.
·
Solid foundation in software architecture, system design, and implementation methodologies.
·
Experience delivering or supporting training, or strong understanding of adult learning principles.
·
Familiarity with quality and continuous improvement frameworks such as Six Sigma.
·
Demonstrated success working across customers, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams.
·
Comfortable working remotely while driving structured, proactive customer engagement.
·
Self-driven, accountable, and able to influence without formal authority.
