Role Summary/Purpose

As the shop’s Administrative Coordinator, you will serve as a shop and human resources liaison, making sure all time, attendance, vouchering and disciplinary documentations are approved and processed in a timely manner. The coordinator will be the first person our team members come to for time, attendance and vouchering issues. As a result, you must be able to show a high level of integrity, confidentiality and display professional maturity at all times.
Essential Responsibilities

In addition you will :

·  Ensure fair and consistent application of company and departmental policies and practices

·  Ensure the time requirements for time and attendance edits and corrections are completed in advance of payroll processing

·  Ensure that for employee labor vouchering is approved daily and mis-vouchering problems are addressed in a timely manner

·  Assist Business Leaders with data to determine the need for disciplinary action

·  Participate in continuous improvement activities related to the Time & Attendance and Vouchering processes

·  May provide work direction or task training to other team members

·  Solves a broad range of problems varying in scope and complexity

·  Share vouchering & unpaid time data with the teams

·  Meet regularly with teams and coaches

·  Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate 2nd and 3rd shifts

·  Assist with data collection, data analysis, approval and reporting

·  Assist with the job posting process and maintain the shop’s seniority list

·  Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED

·  2 years of experience in a related job (i.e. administration, coordinator, etc.)

·  Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate 2nd and 3rd shifts
Desired Characteristics

·  High School Diploma / GED with 2 years of experience in a related job {(i.e. administration, coordinator, etc.),or an acceptable combination of education and experience preferably in a manufacturing environment}

·  An Associate's degree from an accredited school or institution or equivalent from two-year accredited college or technical school and 1 year related experience is preferred

·  Experience using Kronos is a plus

·  Organized and with sense of urgency

·  Integrative thinker, understand the challenges faced by employees and leaders

·  Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

·  Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

·  Ability to influence others and lead teams

·  Detail-oriented to avoid making errors and to recognize errors made by others

·  Ability to be discreet and trustworthy due to frequent contact with confidential material

·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing

·  Strong computer skills including experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and GE specific systems like CSF and Kronos

·  Outstanding people and communication skills for interaction with other team members, customers, and management
