Role Summary/Purpose

All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. This role will require frequent traveling up to 100 % to various client sites through out India and globally.
Essential Responsibilities

All activities related to the testing and validation of an equipment, facility or plant in accordance to the design objectives or specifications for operational use. Includes Performance Services, Performance tests. Major contribution to the development of an operational year plan for own department activities of the team. Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures. Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues. Targeted clients. Works on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from those conditions.
• Commissioning of the MV drives / LV drives or Transformer / Generator / MV panels / PCC / MCC
• Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines
• Creating and carrying out test procedures
• Ensuring site safety norms
• Coordinating with installation/project engineers/ProjectManagers
• Site report preparation, planning and execution
• Needs to work closely with the global project team.
• Investigating technical problems, diagnosing/repairing faults
• Troubleshooting
• Service support
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• B.E / M.E or equivalent / Electrical/Electronic engineering – Minimum 2 – 8 years’ experience
• DEEE- Minimum 4 years’ experience
• Minimum 2 / 5 years of experience in commissioning of Medium Voltage drives, motors, , HV /MV/ LV panels independently.
• Should have process knowledge of Metal / Marine / oil and gas commissioning or domain knowledge in Power or renewables
• Relay testing and Programming
• Independent performance trials experience for the Generator /drives
• Static Frequency converters / Static Excitation systems commissioning
• AVR Commissioning
• HMI Interfacing and Automation
• Communication network skills – Profibus/Modbus/Ethernet
• Commissioning of Substations and Transformers -11kV- 33Kv
Desired Characteristics

Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Strong problem solving skills.
• Commissioning of Switch board will be an added advantage
• Understand various standards relevant to commissioning of motor/transformer/drives as per NEMA/API/IEC standards.
• Operational & process skill in the Metal / Marine / oil and gas domain
