As Technical Product Manager – Digital Engineering, you will support the evolution of the Task Management application, acting as the Product Owner for the product. You will contribute to defining the roadmap and managing stakeholder requests, ensuring a secure-by-design evolution aligned with regulations and internal company policies.
You will contribute to digital transformation initiatives and Lean-Agile (SAFe) adoption within the DT-ENG organization, working with IT and business teams on planning, coordination, and user adoption
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities

Operationally manage the Task Management application and its modules (needs intake, requirements definition, support to the delivery cycle)
·
Contribute to defining and maintaining product vision and roadmap, with strong attention to security, compliance, and policies
·
Coordinate stakeholder requests using a structured framework, ensuring service quality and continuity and promoting continuous improvement
·
Manage the working relationship with the AMS team for: enhancement maintenance, change, incident management, upgrades, and new features—aligning priorities and needs
·
Monitor usage/performance/satisfaction and propose improvements to processes and user experience
·
Support the management and prioritization of the Transformation Backlog (funnel from ideas to implemented improvements)
·
Contribute to coordinating Lean Portfolio / Agile Release Trains activities and alignment with strategic themes (in collaboration with senior counterparts).
·
Support Change Management, User Adoption, and Communication activities during transformation and go-live phases
·
Contribute to reporting and tracking OKRs/milestones/action plans in alignment with FLIGHT DECK principles (support role, not “enterprise-level” ownership)
Qualifications/Requirements
·
Master’s Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering or related fields
·
Solid project management skills: scope, planning, risk/dependency management, stakeholder coordination, progress reporting
·
Good technical depth on project/task management applications and ability to interface with IT and business teams
·
Experience in complex, cross-functional environments, including global/distributed teams
·
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adapting style and level of detail to the audience; facilitation skills and constructive handling of questions/dissent
·
Comfortable with ambiguity and focused on outcomes/continuous improvement
·
Fluent in English and Italian
·
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
·
Knowledge/experience with SAFe and Lean Portfolio Management practices
·
Experience with project/task management tools (e.g., EASY PROJECT or similar)
·
Understanding of Engineering processes (NPI/NTI, ARTS, EPICs, Value Streams) in civil and military domains
·
Experience in change management and digital solution adoption within complex organizations
·
Agile/SAFe/PM certifications (SAFe Agilist, PMI) are a plus
