Position Title: SERVICE OPERATIONS SUPPORT INTERN
GE Business: GE HEALTHCARE
Location: MISSISSAUGA, ON
Duration: 18 MONTHS
Reporting to: DIRECTOR OF SERVICE OPERATIONS
Essential Responsibilities

The Position:
As the Service Operations Support Intern you will be joining a fast-paced environment as part of the GE Healthcare Customer Service Centre. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within the various areas of service operations, IT, and Finance. You will gain exposure supporting both Sales and Service, and assist the greater organization in achieving its annual goals and objectives as an active participant.

In this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Generating quotes and service agreements in quoting software (QuoteWerks).
• Entering agreements in our CRM platform (Siebel).
• Working alongside and supporting the Customer Account Analysts with various tasks (including but not limited to account / contract review, billings, and data management, etc)
• Generating and analyzing reports
• Working alongside and supporting internal customers (such as Service Management, Account Managers and Field Service Representatives)
• Actively working with the Accounts Receivables and Finance departments to ensure timely closure of collections issues
• Maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on behalf of the GE Healthcare Customer Service Centre
• Act as the “Facilitator” for the team’s internal online support site (SupportCentral)
• Create and manage online workflow processes

Education:

·  College Diploma or University Bachelor Degree in course of completion in Business/Commerce (Accounting, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Finance) or equivalent related discipline.
