Lead sales activity in Central Europe for Onshore Wind.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

·  Driving and championing the commercial strategy for the Central Europe Region
·  Represent the Central Europe sales region within GEV´s commercial organization and fight for the region´s needs and requirements to achieve its agreed targets
·  Manage and support the local sales team to grow their individually assigned customers and regions
·  Acting as the team´s customer escalation point for customer issues
·  Define an implement the strategy for advocacy and associations with the new Customer Excellence Leader, representing GEV externally in Advocacy, Associations and other market enablers
·  Agree individual Customer Development Strategies with  the regular AMs to influence their buying behavior towards GEV  
·  Own the information flow to the Marketing team with market insights for Central Europe for LTS, Account reviews, Germany TAM
·  Double digit growth of profitable backlog in Germany
·  Improve and enhance the presence, awareness and reputation about GEV Wind in Germany
·  Build, develop and grow a world class sales team

Key measurements will include:

·  Performance relative to growing GEV´s position in the Central European markets and with it´s customers for their business within and outside the region.
·  Performance relative to Goals & Objectives developed in cooperation with Chief Commercial Officer International around key responsibilities

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline, Finance, and/or advanced business degree with applicable industry experience
·  Practical understanding of: current/emerging requirements of the wind power markets; and customer financial drivers and needs
·  Established strong wind industry network in Germany
·  Proven track record of relevant sales and/or business development experience in the wind power industry
·  Strong communication skills and confidence with executive level presentations
·  Strong interpersonal, team building, and negotiation skills; ability to work with colleagues and customers at all levels of the organizations
·  Flexible for frequent travel
·  Consistent track record of meeting performance objectives
·  Self-starter with high energy and ability to energize others
·  Fluency in both German and English.
