The position is related to the responsibility for executing all activities associated with repair development for GE Aerospace Commercial engines Airfoils: preparation, drafting & substantiation of repair procedures, answering customer inquiries, communication with repair shops.
On this position you will have opportunity to gain broad experience working on different engine modules: Compressor and Low & high pressure turbine within Airfoils domain.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities

Development of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, industrialization. Related program deliverables to repair facilities for new and updated processes.

Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
·
Understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
·
Uses engineering judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters with some guidance. Uses prior experience to solve medium complexity tasks. Has access technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Provide technical leadership to personnel/ cross functional teams supporting the assigned project
Required Qualifications

This role requires experience in the Engineering/Technology & Repair Development.
·
Master's degree
·
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
