The responsibilities of the Repair Development Team span sustaining programs to meet readiness needs of the US NAVY and international operational fleets. This team is dedicated to providing safe and reliable operation of the F414 and F404 engines in support of the Mission of our customers.
In this role you will develop new repairs on a broad spectrum of engine components using new and existing repair technologies and inspection & manufacturing techniques. You will have engineering oversight of existing vendors with opportunity to identify and lead projects related to future repair opportunities. You will build and sustain relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including interdisciplinary engineering teams, vendors and customers. Your impact in this role will focus on GE Aerospace FLIGHT DECK principles of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost by improving customer readiness and lifecycle cost reduction.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
· Development of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, industrialization. Related program deliverables to repair facilities for new and updated processes.
· Has knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include roles supporting specialized technology; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
· Collaborate and industrialize procedures in desired maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities.
· Good understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Strong understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
· May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
· A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and will be required to lead an interdisciplinary project team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant engineering role, inclusive of internships/co-ops OR an advanced degree in engineering from an accredited university or college

Desired Characteristics
· Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited university or college AND a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant engineering role, inclusive of internships/co-ops OR an advanced degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited university or college AND minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant engineering role, inclusive of internships/co-ops
· Foundational understanding of mechanical design, analysis, GD&T principles and manufacturing of high-precision turbomachinery components.
· Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers, vendors and interdisciplinary engineering teams.
· Demonstrated ability to analyze & solve technical design challenges with sound documentation, planning, & program management skills.
· Ability to independently organize, document, plan and execute simultaneous projects while aligning with business priorities.
· Familiarity with and/or ability to leverage FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace's proprietary LEAN operating model.
· Ability to work effectively in the intersections of design, manufacturing and engine assembly.

The base pay range for this position is $ 95,000.00 – 140,000 US Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on February 16th, 2026.
