Role Summary/Purpose

The internship position is placed in the Site Management team of the Construction & Commissioning department which executes projects in the gas power business. 
You will assist the Project Construction & Commissioning Management to accomplish tasks. 
1 Jan 2020 preferred start date, fixed term for 12 months.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Financial Project Controlling - cost review and forecast, budgeting and granting budget compliance 
·  Preparation of review meetings with upper management 
·  Keep record and track of any project-related documents and report within the appropriate database 
·  Communication and coordination meetings with GE entities of different regions and countries 
·  Manpower planning for ongoing projects 
·  Preparation of documents for upcoming projects 
·  Optimization of processes 
·  Data Base Management 
·  The position is office based, A business trip to the construction site may be possible.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Engineering studies (Bachelor/Master) in a relevant technical subject 
·  You are in the advanced stages of your studies in Engineering and Management (Bachelor: > 120 CP or Master program) 
·  You are fluent in English and have good communication skills (Further language skills are a plus, particularly German, Spanish or Russian) 
·  You have strong analytical and result oriented skills 
·  You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel 
·  You enjoy responsibility and you would like to work in a multicultural environment 
Desired Characteristics

·  Interest for project control and project management within an EPC environment 
·  Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills 
·  Knowledge in Primavera P6 is appreciated
